About Regina Gordon

"I believe all businesses deserve legal counsel."

Regina Gordon photoAs a New York licensed attorney, I counsel small businesses and start-ups in protecting their interests and anticipating potential legal pitfalls and how to prevent them. As a small business owner myself, I understand the unique challenges business owners face. As the mom of two very active kids, I know how hard it can be to balance work and life.

I believe what makes me a good attorney is my genuine desire to help my clients achieve their goals and my passion for working with small businesses. My goal is to build long-term relationships with my clients so that I can see my clients succeed and their businesses grow.

When not practicing law, and running after the kids mentioned earlier, I can be found drinking coffee, planning my next trip, trying out a new recipe or exploring Brooklyn – usually while wearing heels.

The Details

In addition to my law degree from Rutgers University, I have a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management from Baruch College in New York City. Before law school, I held several positions within small businesses – everything from sales and marketing to management and operations.

I know how small businesses work and what their owners need. I do not simply tell you what the law says; I explain how the law will affect your business, in an easy to understand, nonlegalese way. My goal is to help your business grow, not hinder it.

Why Choose Regina?

I understand life is busy.

I know how hard it can be for a small business owner to find the time to go to a lawyer’s office to handle all those tedious legal details. I believe the law should be accessible to everyone, both financially and conveniently. That is why I started this virtual law office. We can work together via phone, Zoom, or email. And if you do have the time to meet in person, just let me know – I’ll bring the coffee.

I am accessible.

Like many small business owners, I don’t always keep traditional business hours. While I am generally available Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, I will try to accommodate your schedule as much as possible. You will also deal directly with me. That means a lawyer and not a paralegal handles your case.

I offer reasonable, flat fees.

Many of the services I offer have a flat fee.  This means you will know the cost upfront, with no surprises later.

But most importantly, you will receive legal advice that you will actually understand.

If you would like to know more about me, please send me an email or call me at 347-770-7507. I’ll be happy to discuss how I can help your business.
